Today's blog hop highlights the following products:

(warning: heavy photo post)
I have 3 projects to share.
The first one is Shapeabilities Blessings Vine Frame Etched Die.

you are my favorite

I love how easy it is to use the die for the entire card front.
Since I used kraft card stock for the die, I thought it would be a good idea to do some ink-blending for the background.
you're my favorite

You can see the etched details on the leaves and it does make the card shine!

My 2nd project was created with this Shapeabilities Just For You

Again,  this small box die does it all for you. I have no trouble folding the cute box as the die is a keeper. I also love that you can use it all year long.

just for you

Usually when I get an intricate box /pillow case die, I often question my ability in turning it into a box. Not this one. I also use the small die from Shapeabilities Mosaic VineEtched Die.
just for you-001

My 3rd project is all about pink, lace and love.
In this card, I used the small lace die from Shapeabilities Thinking of You Scalloped Rectangles Etched Die.
my heart belongs to you (2)

It may look intricate, but it is so easy to take it apart and layer however you like.
my heart belongs to you

I am also glad that I got my new Grand Calibur as the die cut machine does great job. No more fussing about bits not being cut. The small flowers are from Shapeabilities Just For You.
my heart

I hope my post gives you some inspiration and ideas about these Spellbinders Dies.

Stamp Something Colorful!

Hello friends!
In the middle of January, I crave seeing things colorful....
Well, at least it's all white and snow in my part of Canada.
Stamping something colorful really helps with beating the winter blues!
This Stunning Cosmo is just the ticket!

Cream colored card stock is not the first thing I would reach, but this time I decided to challenge myself to use it for my stamping.
happy birthday-001
I chose all warm colors and had a blast creating a flowery scene!
Ding---> Pop up that sentiment!
When you stamp a gorgeous background, you wonder how and where you can insert your sentiment....well, popping it up seems like a great solution! Not only it solves the tight spot issue, it also adds the dimensions and interest.

Today's card serves a great example of popping that sentiment. I used a piece of wood-grain pattern paper from Altenew New Day Paper Pad. The splitting of the sentiment is also a good idea, don't you think?
happy birthday

I also highly recommend Stunning Cosmo.
This layered stamp set is super easy to work with and line up. It give you instant and perfect result once you stamp an image or two.

Happy birthday (2)

To give this card an extra oomph, I added a bit of splatter over the flowers!
I really love the result that the splatter gives!

I hope that you would want to stamp something colorful after seeing today's post.
Have a grand time if you are working on something colorful!

Hello friends!
Before I start, I want to mention that you can check out the the latest here. Here
I am popping in to share another take on January 2018 Card Kit.

I used quite a bit of pattern paper which is LOVELY!
THREE Cool things about this card:
(all links are listed at the end of this post)
1. Corbel Curved Border
2. Delicata Shimmer Pink Ink
3. Tim Holtz Distress Glitter (Vintage Platinum)
xoxo love
I find it very effective to mix three sentiment (from Pebbles Pattern Paper) together
and so, I  created a cluster.

Create a Background with Emboss Resist!

Hello friends!
I am delighted to share a project with you.
Lisa over CAS-ual Fridays Stamps invited me to be her partner for the day.
You can find out more about CAS-ual Fridays Stamp here.
I was a CAS-ual Fridays design team member for over 3 years and loved every minute of it!

Today Lisa (Lisa's Creative Niche) and I chose the same technique "Emboss Resist" with the same stamp sets and put our own spin to it.

I love the font so much that I arranged them to stamp and emboss the entire background.
I puffy love you

White-embossing has to be one of my favorite thing to do. I actually stamp the heart and cut it out and used it as a mask, that way the purple heart will stand out.

I puffy love you (2)

In order to show off the colorful background, I added just a few shiny elements to the card and kept it simple.

Even though it seems that there are a log of blings, it is perfectly alright with this colorful background, right?
By the way, CAS-ual Fridays has some fabulous newly released stamps.
I have listed them in the following links for your reference.
OR check them out here over Simon Says Stamp.

I hope that you check out Lisa's creations over CAS-ual Fridays here.
Thank you, Lisa, for the honor.

Thank you for stopping by!

I am delighted to share another fun and easy project with you.

Creative Edges Lace Die

You can find them here over Simon Says Stamp
and Altenew Store here

(more links are listed at the end of the post)

Since the die is so detailed and ornate, I decided to take advantage of it.

Happy Valentine's Day

The intricate die really adds that amazing touches to the stamped design, especially when you use it on both sides!
happy valentine's day (2)

I did some simple stamping with the Stunning Cosmo Set.
The only fancy thing I did was silver- embossing the center of the pink flower.

Happy V. Day

I stamped the sentiment in various shades of grey......hope you like it!

My first card features this gorgeous sentiment die "Thinking of You".

Altenew-thinking ofyoudie-Virginia#1

I took advantage of the pattern paper and made the die cut. Once I cut out the top layer, I stacked two more underneath to add some depth and interest.
Altenew-thinking ofyoudie-Virginia#3

You can see the Gold Foil paper under the die as the paper adds a touch of elegance .
Altenew-thinking ofyoudie-Virginia#2

My next project feature the Watercolor Stripe Cover Die.
It is really an awesome one as you can use it however you like-be it graphic, floral or even masculine.
Altenew_WatercolorStripeDie_Virginia #1

This card was super easy to create. By using Altenew's Spray Mist (see links at the end of this post), I can easily create a colorful paper.

Altenew_WatercolorStripeDie_Virginia #2

I had fun stamping/die cutting Frosted Garden in Grey and then I tucked the flowers under the Watercolor cover die.

Altenew_WatercolorStripeDie_Virginia #3

I only needed a few sequins to complete the embellishments. Love the result!

My 3rd (also last) card was created with Creative Edge Border Lace Die.
Altenew_Creative EdgeLaceDie-Virginia#1

Obviously, you can use this die just for borders.....
To take it up a notch, I incorporated it with Halftone Heart Die and made two hearts with the lace border!
Altenew_Creative EdgeLaceDie-Virginia#2

To dress up the heart, I applied a touch of Gold Glitter Tape and popped one heart up and that's it!
Altenew_Creative EdgeLaceDie-Virginia#3

I also loved the ink-blending on the lacy borders. It's a perfect way to use all kinds of you that you have in your stash.

Hopefully, these 3 cards give you some inspiration and ideas with these amazing Altenew dies. I can't get enough of that Creative Edge Border Lace Die and will share another project in my next post.
